Another ACL Fest Comes to a Close

Last weekend, the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL Fest for short) happened at Austin’s Zilker Park. Every year, people come from all over for this festival, which has quickly become a favorite. And those of us who live in Austin don’t mind showing off this great city.

We really enjoy meeting people at the store who are visiting from out of town. Lots of folks stopped by last weekend before or after they’d been to ACL Fest to pick up cowboy hats as a souvenir, or for Christmas gifts for friends and family.

While it’s usually the hot sun that poses a problem at every ACL Fest, though, this year it was the mud, thanks to so many days of rain. We heard lots of stories from friends about sandals and sneakers that were just completely covered in mud or lost at the festival. But we also heard about those who wore their cowboy boots and how glad they were that they did!

That’s just one more reason we love cowboy boots: they’re so perfect for tough conditions. In addition to looking great and being so durable, they just stand up to whatever you need them to, whether it’s inches and inches of mud, or a long day of riding.
