Well.  I guess that last point might be up for debate.  Because there’s this: Womens Lucchese Goat Boots (Purple).  Wait wait wait—don’t click on the link yet!  Think about cowboy boots, and then think about what cowboy boots might look like if they were purple.  Okay, now click on the link.  YOWZA, right?  Not what we were expecting, that’s for sure.  It’s like someone with built-up static electricity poked me in the eye.  That’ll wake you up!  (Normally, in another blog post about Lucchese boots, I would have proudly displayed the picture right there for all to see, but I figured I’d surprise you all.  I’m guessing it worked.)

All right now, I’ll back off.  I’ll own up to having a bit of a traditionalist streak when it comes to fashion.  (I was way late on the jorts train, for example, holding out until summer 2010 before succumbing.)  The truth is, these Lucchese boots exist because there are people who will love them!  They exist.
