Lucchese “Diva” Boot Line Launched

You’d probably imagine that we’re pretty big fans of Lucchese boots over here at the Allens Boots Boot Blog.  And you know what?  You’d be right!  Though we haven’t written reams about them in this space before, the Lucchese brand is something we have been known to verbally drool over from time to time.  We’re not sure what it is, but something about them makes us crazy over them.  Maybe it’s the impeccable craftsmanship, or the finely honed sense of style, or the enveloping comfort they provide, or the effortless level of cool they exude.  Or maybe it’s a combination of all of that.

So yeah, consider us fans.  Big ones, at that.  (Personally speaking, this blogger doesn’t quite have the scratch to spring for some Lucchese 125th Anniversary Limited Edition Boots, but you’d better believe we’d be all over them if we won the lottery.  But we’d have to play the lottery first.  We digress.)

There’s now another reason to fawn over the Lucchese brand: Diva by Lucchese, a new line of premium boots geared toward women.  Featuring highly stylized designs and targeted toward a more feminine, haute couture-oriented crowd, these boots mark a bit of a departure for the venerable boot-maker.  In addition to creating some of the styles in-house, Lucchese took the rather extraordinary (and laudable) step of crowd-sourcing some of the design.  Fans of Lucchese were able to submit designs in the hopes of having Lucchese pick one for actual production.  Kudos to them for coming up with a brilliant idea like that!

Pardon Our (Boot) Lust

Though we have established the fact that we love our Luccheses, we have a pretty wide array of other cowboy boots that we hold just as near and dear to our hearts.  And when they release a new, uniquely awesome product like this Diva line, you can bet your shiniest silver belt buckle that we’ll be all over it.
