Rodeo Austin Just One Month Away

We’re just one month away from Rodeo Austin, which is happening March 13-28, 2009. And boy, we just can’t wait to go and enjoy this great event. We’re counting down the days til Rodeo Austin, y’all.

A non-profit organization that contributes over $1 million each year to Texas youth, The State of Texas Fair and Rodeo has a mission of “Promoting Youth Education – Preserving Western Heritage.” Rodeo Austin is actually the sixth largest indoor, regular season ProRodeo in the world.

There’s a diverse musical line-up for this year’s Rodeo Austin:

Great line-up, that’s for sure. In addition to great music, Rodeo Austin also offers a livestock show, chuck wagon cook-off, rodeo and plenty of stuff the whole family can enjoy together. There’s even a carnival with food, games and rides.

If you’re planning on going to Rodeo Austin, don’t forget to wear some cowboy boots and western wear. You can’t go wrong with a cowboy hat, either. We’ll see you there!
