Double-Shot-of-Bourbon Pecan Pie Recipe
Bourbon Pecan Pie Recipe

This Bourbon Pecan Pie Recipe Serves 6-8
Just in time for the Holidays, Allens Boots presents a great pecan pie recipe. Get ready to kick off your cowboy boots and dig into a whoppin’ “Double Shot of Bourbon” Pecan Pie. Remember, the most important part of any great pecan pie recipe is to buy great pecans. We suggest buying your shelled pecan halves and pecan pieces from Stanleynuts.com. If you are a die-hard “do it from scratch” type, nothing beats their newcrop thin shell pecans.
Bourbon Pecan Pie Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 ¾ cups coarsely chopped pecans
- 1 pie crust
Bourbon Pecan Pie Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat eggs lightly. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and bourbon; stir until well blended. Add pecans and stir until combined. Pour into pie crust. Cover edges of pie crust with a pie shield or ring of foil (to keep the crust from over-browning). Bake for 25 minutes. Remove pie shield or foil. Bake for 30 more minutes. Cool before serving.
