Jason Aldean is the New Wrangler Retro Spokesman

Singer Jason Aldean says he’s been wearing Wrangler jeans for more than a decade. And now he’s the new celebrity spokesman for Wrangler Retro, a new line of jeans from Wrangler Western Wear that’ll be in stores this month. Aldean will appear in many commercials and ads for the new line, and he has a few television appearances scheduled as well.

Boot-cut or straight-leg options will be available, and the jeans will feature a lower rise, contemporary trim details and updated fabrics. Aldean isn’t the first country musician to back the Wrangler brand: George Strait has also been a spokesman. As a press release for Wrangler Retro notes, “Aldean is rooted in tradition yet brings his own personal style to high-energy songs with a hard-driving country-rock beat and powerful, memorable lyrics.”

Jason Aldean wore Wrangler jeans back when he was first getting started as a musician, playing clubs as a teenager in Georgia. “There’s nothing cooler than a good fitting, worn-in pair of Wrangler jeans, so it’s great that with the new Retro line my fans can go out and rock the same styles I love,” Aldean says.

A busy guy, Jason Aldean is going to be representing Wrangler Retro while also promoting Wide Open, his third album. Aldean is the recipient of the ACM Awards’ “Top New Male Vocalist” trophy and has been headlining sold-out concerts at arenas all over America. He’s one of the biggest names in country music right now, and Wrangler has said that he “enhances the meaning of their latest ‘Long Live Cowboys’ marketing message.”
